Judge me by this & this alone...

Had a shoot with my friend Dilsa Calimli in Alacati Turkey. Loving the soft vibe:)

Mini & side-kick Henrik Thodesen!

NX1 & apparently this summers biggest trend...

At least on our trip to Turkey. Going through the pics I can´t help but notice that there has been taken a lot of pics of us (FAB) girls from the back seat! The NX1 is equipped with a flex LED screen that makes it that much easier to take portraits of yourself in action. LOVING THIS as it also means that you are much more free as a photographer!!

Espen Shampoo Knutsen & moi!

Rocked yesterday with Espen! Cool guy:)

This shows that you are never to old to stay updated on fashion
(or to be proud of your grandchild;) )!
Taken with my Samsung EX1 - Loving this camera!!!

Married soon?

Here are some of the pics I took at the bachelorette parties. Two very different settings, both fun and worth the effort!

I started the day with your typical breakfast - healthy & light;)

Then came the bride to be #1:
Fisty & HOT

And I ended the day with bride to be # 2 in a more traditional manner;
I had a blast:)

More Henrik! (aka "the Joker")

Spent the day with good friends in the park and later went out for tapas - thanks for all the love!
I have nothing if I don´t have my good friends!
They are a constant source of inspiration, support & love..
I am forever grateful!

Mini SUMO!

How lucky am I?! Got the best gift from my siblings - presenting Helmut Newton´s SUMO.
You can read more about the SUMO edition here,
but OH am I happy it´s back in a smaller & less expensive edition.
Finally I can take my time & analyze the pics from a different perspective.
This is by far the best birthday gift ever!!:)

It´s my party and I´ll blog what I want to!

Here are some of my personal favorites:)

When you set out for Ithaka
ask that your way be long,
full of adventure, full of instruction.
The Laistrygonians and the Cyclops,
angry Poseidon - do not fear them:
such as these you will never find
as long as your thought is lofty, as long as a rare
emotion touch your spirit and your body.
The Laistrygonians and the Cyclops,
angry Poseidon - you will not meet them
unless you carry them in your soul,
unless your soul raise them up before you.

Ask that your way be long.
At many a Summer dawn to enter
with what gratitude, what joy -
ports seen for the first time;
to stop at Phoenician trading centres,
and to buy good merchandise,
mother of pearl and coral, amber and ebony,
and sensuous perfumes of every kind,
sensuous perfumes as lavishly as you can;
to visit many Egyptian cities,
to gather stores of knowledge from the learned.

Have Ithaka always in your mind.
Your arrival there is what you are destined for.
But don't in the least hurry the journey.
Better it last for years,
so that when you reach the island you are old,
rich with all you have gained on the way,
not expecting Ithaka to give you wealth.
Ithaka gave you a splendid journey.
Without her you would not have set out.
She hasn't anything else to give you.

And if you find her poor, Ithaka hasn't deceived you.
So wise you have become, of such experience,
that already you'll have understood what these Ithakas mean.
